Not any where near as good as the HSS. Really poor food as regards choice & qualty....not even comparable as pub nosh. The Stena Plus lounge is spoilt by passengers who use phones & are very loud.....also children brought in & allowed to be noisy... Nothe children's fault but parents who just don't know or care. I feel sorry for... More

Stena have been taking me across to Scotland for many years, and this vessel continues the tradition of providing a fantastic experience and a smooth crossing. The cinema on the top deck is a fantastic feature, particularly if you want to while away the voyage time. In addition to that I love the on board arcade and shop, and probably... More

Always book into the Stena Plus, which is worth the extra money for the express service. Staff were friendly and helpful as always

Beautiful, calm and very relaxing from Cairnryan to Belfast. Plenty of places to wander and the onboard duty free prices are great.

We travelled to Belfast from Cairnryan in the middle of storm Barbara. Though the ferry was delayed by an hour, it was better that we were safe to travel as the storm was really bad. On board the staff were fantastic and really reassuring throughout the journey. The sea was rough but there was no need to worry as each... More

We go to Northern Ireland several times a year from Lincolnshire. It's a long drive to Cairnryan from home. It's worth it to travel on Stena Superfast Ferries

Very enjoyable crossing. Staff excellent. I used the club lounge and it was one of the better ones I've been in. Craft was clean. Will use again

Not only that you can travel faster with Stenaline VIII but it has all the arrangements to make you feel comfortable and happy. There were cinema theater, play zone for kids, activity zones for toddlers, multiple restaurants, open deck, spa, bar, what not..! I enjoyed this travel a lot..!!!

Myself and Family travelled over on 11 November, 2016 very comfortable crossing, Louise in the shop was very attentive and offered great advice on various products in the shop, what a lovely lady. On the way back I asked a member of staff for advice on the toilets, to my surprise it was actually the Captain, not sure if I... More

The ferry serves a purpose but is a very expensive way to cross the North Channel. There isn't much choice unfortunately so prices remain high for cars and foot passengers alike.
