When the suns out in Belfast it's a great place to take children. Good park facilities and ample places to take a stroll. My kids love playing in the trees as it's easy for them to climb or play hide and seek. Only drawback is there isn't a great deal of parking space and no toilet facilities unless you are... More

There's something for everyone on a park trip here. Car parking is good, there's an entrance at either end with a car park and a big field they use for overspill when there's something on. The Lisburn / Drumbeg side car park has toilets and a fairly average cafe. There's also foot access from the Lagan tow path. The children's... More

This park caters for all ages at any time of year. For the young there is a huge playpark with equipment suitable for toddlers right up to a zip line for tweens. There are toilet facilities and a great coffee shop at the "Stables" which is in the bottom car park as you come along the Malone Road (there are... More

This is a beautiful place to come for a walk or to admire the many different types of roses on display. Bring a picnic and make a day of it!

During a trip in 2005 my brother and I came upon this park quite by accident. We decided to walk the grounds and we are so glad that we did. The rose gardens were stunning and made for some beautiful photo ops.

Great walk and play area. Shame people allow dogs in the play area, even though there are signs up forbidding it.

This is a large park just outside Belfast, it contains a rose garden and there is an annual rose festival here. As a child I started to come here to use the playpark which is good and have an ice cream as I got older I came to play football, plenty of open spaces to stick down a few goals... More

The gardens are fab! The park is ok, its not great for younger kids but great for older kids, could also do with being gritted in winter, was there on Tuesday and its very slippery! :)
