We went for a walk around the lake a couple of times. There was benches for you to sit and relax and also places that you could bri g your lunch and sit by the lake and enjoy nature.

It’s a beautiful forest park,the walk around the lake is especially nice, it’s also flat, so it’s great cycling with the kids..

Visited here when I was over seeing family. Lovely grounds and views. The maze is a fun, especially when in large groups as you can split up and race. Like a previous reviewer said, some of the hedges have been damaged but that didn't affect...More

Visited the maze during the summer and found it ok - the actual hedges have been "attacked" in a couple of areas so to make it easy to reach the centre - a shame really that the council do not fix these holes....the bell was...More

Went into the Peace Maze and thought we’d never get out. It was good fun though. The woodland play park entertained my daughter too. £5 in for the day paid at gate. Toilets were good. Clean and plenty of cubicles-on a busy day. Picnic spots...More

Taking the most strenuous walk available, we were rewarded at the peak with a fabulous view over Newcastle, Castlewellan and the Mournes. It was a tough walk but well worth it. The Lake view is also beautiful for a flatter walk. Enjoyed this park immensely.

This is a lovely place to visit for a family day out. The hedge maze is a enormous - take photo of the sign if your are anxious about kids getting lost, impatient or just short of time. There is a lovely natural wood play...More
