Weird at first if you have never done this before but your skin and hair feel lovely afterwards! Everything is really clean and I love the old cast iron baths. Friendly staff and you can even pick your own music to soak to.

My wife booked this for me. Its exatly how you would imagine a seaweed bath to be! Solo room with a steam pod thing and a bath containing a bucket of seaweed. Spend 15mins in the steam pod then add hot seawater straight from the tap into the bath. You can select a CD from a list before you go... More

My girlfriend booked this place as a treat after a stressful week. Now, I'd never been to a spa of any sort before so this was all alien to me. The owner greeted us and showed us to the bath, explaining how to use it and the benefits. It really was so relaxing, so much so that I felt a... More

Great place. I first visited here after I had plaster removed from my leg after surgery. Where the scar was on my was scabby, dry, cracked and sore. After 20mins in the hot seawater and gentle rubbing with the sea weed all the old dead skin was gone and it felt amazing. I never put much stock in alternative therapies... More

Bought as a gift and visited with a friend. Not as luxurious as it could have been.Scented Candles would have enhanced the experience. No changing facilities. Clothes got very damp as very steamy. Shared room with two baths but only one seat in steam shower. If room is marketed for two you expect facilities for 2. Expected to empty seaweed... More

Really different way to relax, extremely friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble for them. You can pick your own music while you relax in a hot seaweed bath. Definitely worth a go.

The Soak seaweed baths is one of those 'not to be missed' experiences. I've been visiting Soak since it opened about 10years and delighted to report that it keeps getting better. There are various seaweed baths across Ireland but Soak is the 'gold standard' against which the others can be judged. The bathrooms are spotlessly clean, the option of having... More
