This Cathedral is 400 years old and a lot of restoration work has been carried out. If you visit ask to be showing the video detailing the history of the church. It is now in pristine condition and well worth a visit.
Stunning architecture....stained glass par excellence ... ships that carried emmigrants to Canada during famine times returned with Canadian pine that was stained to look like the Redwood ceilings of Guildhall .
