Majestic, neo-Gothic Church of Ireland (Anglican) Cathedral, built between 1628 and 1633. St. Columb's is the oldest and most historic building within the walled City of Londonderry. It has recently been extensively restored. The Chapter House Museum displays artefacts from the Siege of Londonderry in 1689 and also many other interesting items.There is an audio visual display which tells the visitor the history of the Cathedral and there are guide leaflets available in 8 Languages. Admission is free - donations are welcome.

We went into the church as we were walking the walls. A rather special Cathedral with lots of history and delightful architecture.

While taking the tour around the walls of Derry, this was on one of the stops. It is just a beautiful space and has been maintained to a very high standard. Loved visiting it.

.Enjoy the peace and beauty of this Cathedral, sit and contemplate on your thoughts or wander round it and relive the historical aspect. Definitely needs to be part of your tour of Derry.

This historic cathedral was first built in 1633. Located in walled city of Derry Northern Ireland. Really great architecture and worth a visit.

Not sure what you are on about here? It's a Church that is open to the public you can take your children with you supervised.
