The entire length of the walls is walkable, with information plaques at regular intervals pointing out the main sites. Slippery in winter, though!

We did a self tour of the walls of the city with the many gates. Views from the top of the wall is wonderful very cool.

This Northern Ireland city has so much history to share. From the awe of the great defense wall to the mural tributes from the troubles, you can not help but be respect the history this city has endured.

This is a nice walk to get a feel for the city. I would recommend doing the walk after going to one of the museums, or understanding the significance in how the wall played a part in even the modern history of the Derry.
