Having heard of St Columba, and his Journey to Iona, I was interested to visit here, while sightseeing in the city. a very short distance from the city walls, so very easy to build into an afternoons sight seeing walk, worth a visit

One of the oldest religious sites in Derry. Beautiful church, as pretty as most cathedrals inside. Good exhibits about St Columba's founding of the city.

The altarpiece is quite a surprise for such a modest-looking church. The church is close to the Bogside Murals.
