The driver Paul was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and amusing. It made our tour so memorable and thoroughly enjoyable. He even drove back to the distillery to get our gloves and hat back after we realised we left them there 5 minutes after leaving! thank you!

We took the open top bus tour of the city and were amazed to see the Bogside with some remaining Republican murals still on the walls and also the Unionist area with their propaganda murals still to be seen. Our impression was that there were more Republican than Unionist murals but that may just have been due to the route... More

I recommend the bus tour, we had a great conversation with the girl who was selling the tickets before we boarded she was very we'll versed in Derrys history ( Blond hair and glasses such a lovely girl) any ways we boarded the bus at the starting point which is to the right of the Guildhall, the journey takes 1... Found this the best way of seeing the city and being giving all the knowledge and history at the same time....the tour is quite short.. one hour in length.. found this better with small kids.. the best option is to do the tour without getting off.. then u can stay on the bus and get off were you would like... Was looking forward to this but came away a bit disappointed. Whilst the tour covered the city physically the commentary largely focused on the Troubles and the aftermath. Whilst this was informative there was very little about the history of the city e.g. no mention of Cathedral, little mention of the siege etc. It was a bit preachy too about... More

I'd only planned to have a few hours in Derry, so emailed the company in advance to ask how long the tour lasted. This was around 9pm on a weekday night, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive an answer from the company within two hours - that was over and above what I expected! The tour itself was a... Hop on / off bus tour with about 7 stops takes in the Bogside (Catholic) area known as the scene of the "Bloody Sunday" shootings as well as the Waterside (Protestant) areas. The commentary was informative and unbiased and gives an optimistic impression of the future of Northern Ireland's second largest city. I would say that this is a good... More

We booked the day before for the first trip to Giant's Causeway and Dunluce Castle. We were by ourselves so they took us by taxi instead of bus. We had the chance to go to the castle instead of the distillery. The ride was beautiful Scenic. The tour guide was a lovely man who told us about another place to... More
