Walk along the wall and the view was fantastic. Would be better if the weather was good. It took us couple of hours to walk along with a 3 y/o toddler boy. The road is stoney not very stroller friendly (quite a lot of stairs)...More

Even though the British ordered that Irish city walls be demolished centuries ago, much of this one still stands, and is an engineering marvel.

We thought the City was very attractive in and of itself. The walking tour with a great guide made it come alive this much more.

We walked the walls and thoroughly enjoyed the views, learning the history from the placards, stopping at one of the many bars for a pint, and especially the graffiti on the houses from the troubles in the late 20th c. It is a great walk!

We knew little of the history here and were thankful for the signs and exhibits explaining the significance of what we were looking at. Beautiful views from atop - including the Free Derry sign.
