We recently took some Canadian friends down to see Fittie and its many attractions. The small houses and the squares were particularly attractive to them as well as the possibility of seeing dolphins from the edge of the beach. Well worthwhile for a short visit...More

A fishing village of old with lots of wee squares and quaint houses some decorated. A lovely place to wander round if you're down beside the beach on a nice day

A lot going on in park and lots to do for kids. Boat ponds are being cleaned at present and undergoing some repairs. worth a walk through the rows of greenhouses with such a variety of flowers in bloom.

A real insight into the past. The old houses and their sheds were so quaint. Just walking along the quiet streets was amazing.

The area is a lovely interesting place, but I did feel a little uncomfortable at the houses as these are still people's homes. The nearby quay is also interesting and the views to the harbour and out to sea are stunning. Well worth a visit.

Yes you can walk it in twenty minutes or so, but goes past the docks so is not very pleasant for a stroll! Best bet is to drive and park at the sea front for free.
