We think it has gone 'downhill' since the 'improvements'. It used to have lots of lovely mature trees which were cut down a few years ago and new planting done. Now it is a very windy place to visit as there is no shelter from...More

Fabulous park, great for all ages. Old fashioned and modern combined. Wide paths great for learning to ride bikes. Roller skating, scooters, dogs, prams, wheelchairs. Interesting botanical gardens. Bandstand and great selection of play park areas. And more! Only letdowns are tricky parking with limited...More

A large area, good for walking, running, cycling, playing. 3 great play parks for the children. A pond with pedal boats in the summer. The winter gardens is a fully covered area with a massive range of plants to see, nice for a wander round....More

It's a standard park, with the winter gardens (totally worth a visit!). There are lots of dog walkers, and people doing that military fitness thing, yet somehow, it's peaceful and quiet. There isn't a lot of parking, but the roads nearby are pretty safe too.

Great place to let the kids run off some energy. Great selection of activities from swings to zip wire. Plenty of open space but disappointed with the service supplied at the cafe

Enjoyed riding bike. Newly furbished play areas. New cafe and Yummy ice-cream. Great day out during school holiday, without breaking the bank!
