This is a well thought out museum with a very helpful layout plan and audio tour (if desired). There's something for all ages. Especially interesting was the Broadsea Display created by the local High School. And if you want more - nip across to the Lighthouse Museum.

The history of Fraserburgh in such a small space, exhibits on Marconi, The Antarctic bases, WWII and Fishing to name but a few. There are also some exhibits on Bill Gibb the iconic 1960s and 70s designer. Fraserburgh was also a major Herring port and there are stories of the fisherwives and the brave men who battled the seas.

This attraction brings home to people just how much the town and surroundings have contributed to the world in general. It demonstrates the contributions various Fraserburgh people have made. Well worth the visit

Only a little museum but a surprise bonus alongside the Lighthouse Museum. Greeted by friendly staff, with no mention of us arriving close to the (official) last ticket time! Interesting Q&A sheet for the kids to explore with. Nice to see exhibits that CAN be touched, climbed on & in too! An enjoyable snapshot of what is important to this... More

This centre is really bustling with interesting features about the history and people of the local area. Apart from the exhibition itself there is a fascinating section dealing with wartime history and local families. Staff very welcoming. Do go if you are in the area

Decent enough centre. Kids loved it. Children can interact with some parts of it and get a slightly better insight to how things were in the past. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
