While maybe a tad expensive especially with a family it is certainly worth a visit to how trhings were in the past. When seeing what happened many years ago it makes you wonder if some of the things should be brought back.

Nice day out visiting the jail which includes a large section of time from the early 1800's to the 1950's. The attraction includes a lot of guides dressed in period costumes to enhance the experience but a lot of the stories are really quite sad...More

A great place to visit, very interesting and informative with an excellent audio guide system. Allow a couple of hours at least, good place to escape the 'liquid sunshine' that falls from the sky!

Visited as part of a group tour. Although rushed due to tour itinerary schedule, I had more fun wondering around. The courthouse re-creation was interesting and I had a blast pretending I was part of the spectators. Overall, my rating is based on the £11.50...More

An unplanned visit to escape the rain. A well presented attraction with interesting local history. Plenty of gruesome details and a photo booth to keep kids interested for an hour or so.
