Very enjoyable afternon admiring the fish, seals and otter. The ticket allows entry for a whole week so for a family, excellent value as there are plenty of things for cjildren to do. It rained non stop when we were there and the staff were hard pushed to keep the water at bay. Little café was excellent and very good... More

The staff are very friendly and there's a big variety of animals to see, we especially enjoyed watching the otter getting fed and doing his tricks. The medals were a brilliant way to get my little one interested in everything from answering the questions to even touching a starfish! The outdoor play area could do with repairs but since it... Visited on a quiet Sunday and it was absolutely fabulous. Kids loved the fish and the seals were amazing. Beautiful scenery and nice cake and coffee in the cafe. Good gift shop too. Some great fishy themed toys and decent prices.

We visited mid-week and it was very, very quiet. The facilities are desperately in need of refurbishment but we don't begrudge the entrance fee because it's such a good cause. We didn't see the otter when we arrived at lunchtime and were generally disappointed with our visit but we decided to pop back on our way home later in the... More

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to review our Sanctuary. It's great to read that you decided to pop back in and our staff were able to fill you in on the work being done. Great place for all family. A lot to see indoor and outdoor. We are definitely going back in Summer to use woodland playground, nature trial and forest scenery. Gorgeous views and really lovely spot for picnic. Good idea for kids to do question trial and medal at the end for completing it. Don't miss otter and seal feed time:)

3 times we went last year. As it was supposed to be refurbished. Every time it just got worse and worse. The cafe wasn't open. The playpark is in very much need of repair. It's broken and muddy and boggy. And the seals which is the main attraction is soo dirty u can't even see them unless the surface. It's... More

Hi, Apologies you have been disappointed with your visits to the Scottish Sea Life Sanctuary. As I am sure you are aware, making... More

Visited this on 14th February this year. We all had a great time . The lunch was good and my grandchildren really enjoyed their trip. It was quiet when we went but then it is only February. Entrance fee is not cheap but you could spend most of the day here. Good for families.

I have visited here before years ago but my partner hadn't and he was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed himself. We both did. The varieties of fish were very interesting. Hi, Thanks for taking the time to review our Sanctuary. It's great that you enjoyed your visit and would recommend us to others. Lewis, our otter, sadly lost his partner Isla last year.
