A magnificent park with a great number of attractions which will soon have a very large play area for children and a new cafe. The views of the river are stunning at any time of year. Don't forget to visit the museum.

Had a lovely walk around this park with family and the dog on a cold post Christmas morning. Wish we had discovered it early in our holiday as it was a great place to wander and explore. What a beautiful park. Autumnal at time of visit. Trees, and gardens absolutely stunnig. Visit the museum. Bikes and trophies belonging to local lad Steve Hislop. Spent nearly 2 hours just wandering around museum. A real gem in the beautiful Scottish Borders.

Lovely open park well maintained but with plenty natural splendour and currently being updated with a café and adventure play area in the near future an impressive public garden and museum are also available to visit and many sports pitches,a lovely walk with your pets or family.

Grand bandstand, sports to watch, Boer War memorial, nicely kept up, beside the River Teviot and adjoining the Museum - what's not to like?
