To get away from it all in beautiful surroundings you cannot beat Dawyck Botanic Garden. Lovely walks around the gardens in all seasons. Autumn is my favourite time for all the brown, red and golden colours on the leaves. The café is very nice for an enjoyable coffee or tea after a walk in the gardens

We’re fortunate enough to live not far from the Gardens and in recent weeks have visited a few times to see the Autumn colours develop, have a walk and of course get a coffee and snack in the café. Into November the opening hours are reduced (10.00am to 4.00m) and by the time it gets to the end of the... More

Visited this splendid garden with its ever awesome trees today, and was thrilled by the wonderful range of colours, on the branches and in great sprays on the ground. It was a memorable experience. Dawyck is always a splendid site; at the moment, it is something very special.

Spent a lovely couple of hours here, a beautiful place for a leisurely walk. Colours in October were stunning. Will definitely visit next Autumn, but also perhaps in summer!

Had never heard of Dawyck until taken there by friends. Glorious autumn colours displayed on a wide variety of trees both tall and small. Nice cafe too with full windows looking on to the gardens.

Wonderful Botanical Gardens full of amazing trees. The gardens are beautiful at any time of year but the autumn colours are spectacular. Possibly not the easiest place to walk if you have a physical disability but even the areas which provide easy walking look amazing. Well worth a visit!

Great walk through the gardens on a relatively sunny day. Very peaceful and lovely views onto the hills. Nice little spots dotted around the gardens to take in the views and to relax. Would definitely recommend.

I'm a gardens enthusiast. An early autumn visit so we missed the most spectacular 'fall colors' and the flowering rhododendrons/azaleas of early summer but that doesn't affect the humbling effect of the magnificent trees, so tall! Magnificent. Also liked the different trails, all educational, but chance to just sit and breathe
