Spent a few hours here recently and I was surprised at the amount of interesting information and artefacts in this museum. Very interesting exhibits and the camera obscure was fascinating. We will certainly return in the future with family and friends.

Thought I was going to a camera museum he he !!! The presentation of the Camera Obscura was great. Amazing invention. What a great way to see and learn about the history of Dumfries.

Only half the museum is suitable for wheelchair users. What you can see is interesting and well set out.

The Museum has its own small car park, if it is full there is usually on street parking available just around the corner.
