A beautiful building, recently renovated.Museum staff were most helpful and obviously proud of their museum. The main purpose of our visit was the exhibition of twentieth century Scottish artists which did not disappoint. There was also a fascinating display and account of two female Dundee reporters who embarked on a world tour at the end of the nineteenth century.Well worth a visit.Free... A great place for everyone young and old. The shop has a great and interesting range of items to buy and the cafe is great for having a break. There is a lift for people with disabilities or people with prams (you can never get kids interested in museums too early!!!!) A great day out and it is free!!

Visited here with my kids. Big museum but not enough to keep my kids occupied for long. not much interactive displays and the kids got bored very easily, cafe price were really high so left and took kids elsewhere. bit of a disappointment but it is free to get in.

The McManus Galleries are stunning from the outside and interesting on the inside. From local history proudly displayed to changing exhibits of art and sculpture the McManus has something for everyone. Unfortunately the audio visual technology doesn't always work or I would have given it five stars. There is a family art and craft room that my kids love to... More

The staff are very welcoming and helpful. They were handing out a plan of the gallery and asking if you needed any help. Entry is free and the building is full of interesting facts and exhibits. Really fired up an interest to find out more of the history of Dundee. Great place to spend a few hours.

A very good local collection. The new ship display is worth a long examination. The visiting art galleries are always good.

Beautiful building. Very calming to go in here and sit and look at the paintings. The paintings are actually amazing. It is like another world. If I am in town and want a rest and a seat I sometimes come in here. A great free resource. Dundonians should use it more.Conveniently located. Outside there are benches to sit and have... More
