The Roxburgh hotel has had a refurb, very masculine. It's also changed its name to the Principal. Unfortunately no street sign to warn visitors who booked into the Rox. And gmaps take you to hoardings in rose street with no entrance. Refurb looks good at...More

We stayed overnight and only spent time in the room so can't comment on any of the hotels other facilities it the room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable!

The hotel has been undergoing extensive renovations and our suite was a capacious first floor room overlooking charlotte square. The designers probably need to have their fees slashed but it was comfortable bed and people don't go to Edinburgh at festival time to spend it...More
