This was the last of our official sightseeing in Edinburgh. That it was a cold night added to the atmosphere and "authenticity". The reasonably priced tour starts and ends on Waverley Bridge, conveniently close to public transport. And close to the Christmas markets which were...More

We saw the bus on the Royal Mile in the middle of the day and they were inviting people to book for the tour that evening. We booked for three of us. We arrived at Waverley Bridge at 7.20pm and waited until 7.45. The bus...More

I took my 8 year son and we had a great tour, learnt lots of interesting (and gruesome) facts on Edinburgh. The graveyard visit was a highlight, so much atmosphere. Highly recommend (but for kids 8 and over, younger ones maybe a bit scared)

We decided to take the bus ride on Halloween. We enjoyed the ride, we’ve learned some ghoulish facts about Edinburgh and its past. You don’t get to see much of the city, because the bus ride is at night and the lights from the bus...More

We learned about the tour through our Hairy Coo Tour guide, Stephen. Considering we were visiting a couple weeks before Halloween, a haunted tour seemed to be the perfect way to celebrate. Our guide, Dr. Knox (Mark), was a great story teller who was funny...More

Did the 7.00pm tour tonight and had a great time. Plenty of great stories and a great graveyard tour (only short but fun). Tour guide was fantastic and very informative. Great way to spend an hour or so.

This tour took about an hour and our guide was Mark. He was dramatic and amusing and involved the passengers in the stories he told. Not frightening in itself but some of the historic stories were quite harrowing. I had two 17 year old girls...More

Was an interesting tour but was not scary and the grave yard walk was boring! The women working on the bus was very good and very engaging.

It was amazing! It was absolutely hilarious, and mark, the tour man, was incredible! It showed you so much, and the audience were used in the show too! The family had such great fun, we will definitely come again. Highly recommended.

Glaswegians tease Edinburghers that their High Street

Castle stands proud above the rest of the dramatic old
