We visited Hollyrood Abbey while on our tour to the Palace and marveled at the scope and breadth of the historic significance of both places. What more can I say, this place is amazing !!!

Make sure to stop here at the end of the tour of Holyrood Palace. The ruins of the Abbey are absolutely breathtaking.

Attached to the oldest part of Holyrood Palace where Queen Mary of the Scots lived, this abbey is in ruins. But the photos you take here will be some of your favorite from the trip!

We saw his of course as part of the tour of Holyrood palace. Wonderful historical significance and more recently where Zara Phillips had her wedding photos taken!

Beautiful old ruins, very atmospheric. Access via Palace with entrance fee, or historic Scotland membership offers free entry to Abbey at certain times of the year (palace entry not included) Worth a visit.

it cost us £11 each as pensioners. if u get your ticket stamped at the end you can return for free I think within the year

I just visited in December and it cost 12.50. A visit to the abbey is included in your ticket to the palace.
