two boys who worked the bar made the experience the worst night ever, they were complete anal, loads of customers complaining about their attitude, threatening people that they would be put out if they made a noise. Call this a comedy club?More

Hi, I'm sorry that you feel that way. We have to ask people to behave when they come to our venues and to respect the rules such as no talking during the show and not to use phones etc. We don't think that is too...More

Me and my partner went on a Monday night where comedians who are new to the scene try out their material and majority of them did not disappoint! Brilliant from start to finish with a surprise appearance from Danny Bhoy which was awesome! Word of...More

Saw Fred McAuley here and is just perfect for small, intimate shows. Ok bar, but it is small so don't expect as wide a variety of beers etc you'd get in a big venue. Couple of pillars so bear that in mind for viewing when...More

The comedy was like the curate's egg, good in parts, but the concept of customer service has completely passed them by.

I went to The Stand on my own on one of my final nights in Scotland. I read that it was best to go as soon as the doors opened or you would be unlikely to find a seat, so I did so. The line...More

Hi, Comedy is a very subjective thing and its difficult for every act to land their material with every customer. Our venue is intimate and popular hence the doors opening early to let people keen to grab a seat in an unreserved-seated room. I'm not...More

Went to the comedy club on a spur of the moment idea, we were lucky to get tickets as the place sells out fast, and people were queuing to get in and get good seats before the doors even opened. The comedy talent was great...More

Hi, doors open from 7pm and the show starts at 9pm. Our weekend shows are busy so we do recommend people come early as its unreserved seating. Tickets can be bought in advance via our website.
