What a splendid vessel, displayed in an excellent format, with loads of information well presented. Lunch was excellent too if a little pricey, but on a glorious day with superb views hard to complain. Well worth a trip.

This is a very interesting and well organised tour. You are at your own speed. It took us 2 hours to get around and I felt privileged to be able to go on board! Even more privileged to be able to take photos! This ship has been preserved magnificently and does not come across as commercialised like other tours. It... More

Whilst passing a few hours before catching our flight home, we decided to visit the Royal Yacht Britannia. Not much of a Royal myself, but thoroughly enjoyed this unique glimpse into the royal way of life. So refreshing to find a tour that was perfectly balanced between areas that were protected behind glass i.e. The Queens Bedroom and areas where... More

The Royal Yacht Brittania was the surprise favourite on our recent long weekend visit to Edinburgh. We bought inclusive hop on bus tickets which included the visit in price of the tickets and we're very pleased that we had. About half an hour bus trip from the city centre it is an interesting drive and the tour bus dropped us... More

The Royal Yacht was immaculate and kept in its original condition and layout. All areas visited were clean and tidy. Had tea on the yacht served by very friendly staff who were eager to chat about this lovely ship.

Fascinating journey into nostalgia. Delightfully presented with many artefacts, photographs of bygone ages and historical facts. It took us nearly three quarters of an idea from the ticket desks to the language handsets. No - no queues, just the time it took us to look at photographs and read the fact boards. The audio commentaries were easy to listen to... More

When researching things to see in Edinburgh I was surprised. I didn't know that this was where the Queen's yacht came to "retire". It's something I've always wanted to see and I'm glad I did. Get there early before the crowds. So much to see. Use the commentary when you do the tour. So much to see and worth the... More
