I had visited the attraction as a child whilst on holiday but this was my partner's first visit. We both very much enjoyed it! The staff were friendly from start to finish, queues were managed well and the yacht audio tour is perfectly informative. We...More

What a well done presentation. When the Royal Yacht Britannia was retired in 1997, several localities vied to be the new mooring spot. It's maintained and presented by a private non-profit group who do a great job at presenting this historic ship that was used...More

I love this! Anyone would feel right at home on this ship-ok, the Rolls Royce might not be the usual mode of land transport for most of us, but the visit here is so pleasant. Do go on a nice, sunny day. And do buy...More

This tour was very neat, being able to see how the ship operated. It was interesting to see the Royal accommodations on board and their day to day life on the ship. A top must-do in Edinburgh!

We were visiting Edinburgh for a short break and this was mentioned in our guide book as a "Must See" and it was. Get the bus (its easy and cheap and has a frequent service) - you need to get off at the Ocean Terminal....More

Well planned tour, very interesting. Try the fudge on board - yummy. A cream tea is also a must. Use tesco clubcard vouchers x4 to save money.

A very easy attraction to visit. The 22 Ocean Terminal bus costs £1.70 each way from Princes Street, stop number PE. It takes around 30 minutes and drops you right outside the attraction. An escalator up two floors takes you to the entrance. We booked...More

I've done the Britannia tour three times now and always find it fascinating. From the way you buy a boarding pass to the handheld 'tour guide ' machines that tell you the history of the rooms you enter. It's a fascinating vessel from the Royal...More

What is the luggage store like? We'll be arriving at the airport rather early and are considering getting the 200 bus here, looking round etc... before heading into the city and checking in to our hotel. Only hand luggage and a small weekend type case.
