The choice of seafood is versatile and fresh. The staff is is very helpful and knowledgeable. They have sushi grade fish, and items can be preordered. Restaurants buy from eddies ! visit early in the day, this place sells out quick at times.

Great Fishmongers, nice variety of fresh fish and seafood. They sell very good quality seafood at fair prices. Well worth a detour. For visitors of Edinburgh, considering a rental with kitchen facilities is a great idea if only to cook the seafood bought from Eddie's.

There are other fishmongers in Edinburgh, others in Marchmont no less, but anyone going to those shops really are missing out. Eddie's fish is best. You can taste the difference. Sometimes cliches are true too.

Lovely staff, very knowledgeable and happy to answer all questions regarding preparation/cooking. Often a long line out the door, worth the wait.

We searched the Internet for fishmonger in Edinburgh and found Eddie 's, and we were not disappointed! We bought excellent fresh wild cod and oysters. Great service too. You can only pay by cash .
