Amongst the travellers on the mini bus, there was no suggestion of giving the tour guide/driver to tip him. It is not an Australian culture to do so. Whether anyone did so, I don't know.

The 3 day tour does go by the Old Man. The only gating factor is weather. if it is rainy and foggy it will obstruct the view. We saw a partial view of it on our trip due to the weather conditions. So go and keep your fingers... More
