Stopped by the Creepy Wee pub after visiting the nearby Abbey for a pint and conversation. Pub itself was OK; however, we were rudely joined at our table by a highly intoxicated local who looked the part of the pub ... very Goth and "Creepy" After a few minutes, we kindly asked him to leave our table, which he ignored.... Crashing in here with a large party and a great variety of drink choices, we were pleased with the pleasantly creepy halloweeny atmosphere and highly varied clientele, making it a vibrant place for a late Wednesday night drink. Helpful bar staff and a great collection of liquor.
A very quirky little pub, have been 3 times and had a good time each time, the staff have proved friendly and so have the other patrons. The pub itself was great with the exception of my gf being spiked. Didnt get 10 minutes away before having to have a bouncer of another place help.
This is a nice little pub with a bit of character. It's doing something a little bit different in a town with a few very samey pubs. There's a nice atmosphere and staff are friendly. Went when there was live music- decent standard. Would be good to see some ales though!
