First, the Castle Course is a great course that is fun to play. It offers outstanding views, the chance to score well with good placement, but penalties for wayward shots. All in all, it is a good test, and an enjoyable round of golf with...More

We had a decent snack here after going on a walk from the centre of St. Andrews - the scones were good, as was the tea. The view from the Castle Course restaurant is beautiful and is highly recommended. A good place to come after...More

This was a special treat and so much fun. There are tons of blind holes and layups so we were happy to have caddy Tony Clarke along to lead us through this challenging course. He made it much more pleasurable and saved us many strokes...More

Fantastic golf course. Great alternative if you can't get on at the Old Course. Restaurant is great with an outstanding view. The Beef Bourguignon is fantastic.

You arrive at The Castle and immediately the welcome is impressive - someone takes your bags, gives you a quick guide of the clubhouse. You have a free tray of balls to hit and that you can then have a putt by the first so...More

I have to rate this above average, but it is not what I expected. The good- better views of the city and sea than other courses in St A due to it being a couple miles up and out of town. The clubhouse has the...More
