Description:

Often mentioned in local magazines/guides and international travel guides...

Often mentioned in local magazines/guides and international travel guides as 'the best pub in glasgow' - it is a bar/pub (no food). Alternative music played. Locals. Art deco interior which has remained the same for years and years and years. Hope you add it, it has so much character.

Popped in here early (9pm ish) last Saturday with my gorgeous girlfriend. Really cool place (ok I am 45 but bear with me). DJ on the decks (but music not too loud!). Cool retro... read more

I fell in love with this place last year and was a bit upset when I heard it was closing, so I was shocked when I was told that it was still open. It's a very cool place!

Great boozer with a wide selection of nuts... Also great staff. I love the perseverance of the girl with no thumbs. A real go getter!

...great boozer, great banter, a warm vibe from the staff and enough variety in alcohol to keep even the more choosy happy...the toilets are exactly what you might expect in a pub, just the right ambience for all your peeing and pooping...top notch!

Variety bar toilets are magic. So are the staff and everything else. Decor is lovely and great selection of drinks.

Glasgows best traditional bar , apparently it hasn't ever changed its art deco look and why would it - if you are heading to see a show you could worse than hit up here for drink and chat first

Nice enough pub but decor a bit tired and needs updated. Decent pint and friendly enough staff. Went along to see the Star Wars stuff and felt slightly underwhelmed by it all.
