Firstly, I have mobility issues but do not require a wheelchair but I am led to believe there is a dedicated space for users. This being my second visit to the hall I knew not to use the main entrance but the back entrance which is on Killermont Street.. The main entrance is at the top of external steps with... More

Attended the Strauss Gala concert on Saturday 7 January 2017. The venue is very modern, but in many ways really unsuitable for the infirm, of which there were a lot in the venue. There are shiny wooden floors( read slippy) there are shallow steps down to the hall, we sat at an end seat with a perfect view, and oh... More

We visited the Royal Concert Hall to see musicals from the West End and it was very good. We were in the stalls in the front row and the "sound man" got it spot on. We were not overpowered by the speakers and we could hear everything. The Concert Orchestra and the 4 singers from the West End were superb.... More

Brilliant show. Loved every second. Great acoustics. And a good laugh at the end with the dressing up as Star Wars characters.

Unfortunately came in through the back enterance to collect my tickets and greeted by a foreign girl who didn't have a clue what I was saying. Better luck going in the main enterance. Lovely orchestra for the Christmas sing-a-long, let down by the surroundings. No tree, lights or even a trace of tinsel was to be found in or outside... More

At a certain age you need a seat to sit through a three hour concert despite being a lively night. So when we bought our tickets we were given a seat allocation, then to arrive at the area in the concert hall to be told it was standing only and take it up with ticket master! Very disappointing attitude and... More
