At a certain age you need a seat to sit through a three hour concert despite being a lively night. So when we bought our tickets we were given a seat allocation, then to arrive at the area in the concert hall to be told it was standing only and take it up with ticket master! Very disappointing attitude and... More

I was at the Deacon Blue concert, and in general, I was very impressed with the venue and the staff. There were lots of bar staff, so getting served wasn't really a problem. I also found that the announcements, that the concert will start in 5 minutes, very helpful.

First time at the Concert Hall, but not the last - already booked for Mary Chapin Carpenter! Excellent venue, great views of the stage from Block J (probably from everywhere, it's a good venue). A tip for interval drinks: book them at the bar closest to your seats - we booked the one we were drinking at, but it was... More

True, music and cultural venues are often near city centres around the world, however in Glasgow, not only is it at the tippy top of 'the' main high street, Buchanan St., it is also inside and is an extension of a large and extremely popular shopping centre, the Buchanan galleries. How cool is that?! Clearly the Scottish take their culture... More

There is a certain magic around Glasgow Concert Hall. I love the hall itself, the seating is so comfortable and it's just a really ambient place to go. Have been the last 3 years for the West End Christmas concert which is a must go to if you have never been; my tickets are booked for this year too!

I saw Van the Man perform in Glasgow at the superb Royal Concert Hall (the acoustics are quite wonderful). I have had the pleasure of seeing Sir Van perform live around 20 occasions over the past 40 years and tonight was the best performance from all these shows. Vans vocals were astonishingly clear and so powerful. The band were all... More

Lovely venue for a Graduation.Comfortable seating and great view of the stage.Pleasant and helpful staff. Seats higher in the Auditorium maybe not suitable for those not good on stairs.

I did not complain at the time as did not want to embarrass my friend or spoil our time together. The place is a real nono - don't go there because they do not follow food hygiene/handling practices properly. Food is prepared at the counter so I could see everything - the staff are obviously not trained in food handling,... More
