Stunningly beautiful CRM building in gorgeous grounds, rooms have to be seen to be believed - contrast between the dark wood of the dining room & the almost stark white of the music room is something to see. Natural light throughout the whole house is...More

Surprising place! The restaurant at this venue is large, busy and enjoyable. Service is quick and friendly and the food was excellent. Probably best as a lunch time venue. Enjoyed it and will return.

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely day here last week and couldn't recommend it more! Lovely display of artwork and very easy to navigate! The tearoom at the end is to be highly recommended!

The house is glorious (particularly if you have an inkling you might like Mackintosh/McDonald). On the warm, slightly showery, late summer day that we visited there were few people wandering around the house so it was reasonably peaceful. At £5.50 for entry and the (very...More

The house that was biult decdes after Mackintosh's death but is the main attraction of Glasgow for me. Standing in the middle of a huge park, the walk to the house is pleasant and nice. The house and the exhibition is amazing, giving you a...More

Well worth a visit. Built from the famous architect/designer's plans, it's a beautiful building with an excelelnt restaurant and elegant gardens. It's used for functions such as weddings as well as a lovely place to eat out.

Well, there are some places in Glasgow to get an impression about Rennie Macintosh. However, at this place I had the feeling that he "touched" me. Although a reconstruction, it gives you the feeling how an art lover with aim for a consistent styling would...More

Check their website as it does weddings also and the exhibition changes its opening times upto a week at a time. The cafe has separate opening times and is open to the public more frequent.

Sorry I can answer your question. I was leading a tour, which means the bus driver got us there, with the help of a local who served as a private guide. I bet it's really beautiful there now that summer has arrived. Enjoy!
