Fabulous and free! Impressive building in nearby Kelvin Park. Not far from the uni. I liked the section on the Red Clydeside and the original Spitfire plane.

I spent most of my day walking around the park, I found it a bit difficult to get to, however if I’d followed the signs and stopped wandering about the park I could of got there quicker. It’s free entry so that’s always a great way to see some main attractions for cheap. It’s well worth the visit, lots of... More

And the variety of artwork was stunning - the Dali ' Christ of Saint John of the Cross' was wonderful and the mackintosh exhibits shone (and inspired): but this is a treasure trove of a place. Arrive before 13:00 for the organ recital. A true gem.

Nice gallery this, plenty to see and fantastic architecturally. I was thrilled to be able to see the large version of St John Of The Cross by Salvador Dali (Chuck Missler has some interesting spoken material on what it represents, dimensionally, if you are interested) - but I did have to wait for some massing teenage hordes to disperse first!... I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here. The museum has a great collection--I particularly enjoyed the Charles Rennie Mackintosh items. There was a special exhibit that was well worth visiting. I would go back the next time I'm in Glasgow.

Been here so many times but never get bored, so much to see for free. Great educational day for yourself & the kids. Nice restaurant downstairs, quite pricey but food is good with great views. Coffee shop on the ground level which is more reasonable. Free entry but you can leave a donation if you like.

A museum so full of curios it was difficult to know where to start. We really enjoyed poking around the upper galleries and loved the heads installation.
