This is a lovely parkland just south of the main part of the city. It's quite large and will be filled with people strolling, having picnics, or playing sports on nice days. This is a great place to take kids. Parking is very tight and public buses don't necessarily take you to where you want to be. Pollok House is... More

It's one of my favourite places to visit in Glasgow on a sunny day. I absolutely love to cycle to Pollok on a sunny day. It's a beautiful place with great views, feels like you are a thousand miles away from the business of city centre.

Took the grandchildren here as it was a beautiful day. They had a wonderful time playing in the mini maze and seeing the horses.

Great park on the south side of Glasgow. Has the Burrell Collection and Pollock House. Both worth a visit. The gardens and grounds surrounding Pollock house are really nice. As a family we've been with our bikes and our dog on separate occasions. With your bike there are some great trails to explore for several miles both paved and dirt... More

Wonderful place to visit to enjoy a sunny day, walking on the tracks, close to nature. And a big plus is, the Hairy Coos! I visited just last weekend and since its the month of May, and weather was sunny, the Highland Cattle was out enjoying the sunshine and I got plenty of amazing photos! Plus if you see that... More

My wife and I cycled here on a lovely sunny day and enjoyed sitting by the water and meeting lots of cute dogs who were out for walkies. We brought a picnic but went into the takeaway cafe in Pollok House to buy two cans of Diet Coke and a packet of crisps. When the man said "that's £5.05" I... More

This is one of my favourite places in glasgow. Lets concentrate on pollok park house and gardens as the Burrell collection is closed for a considerably long time for a massive refurb. The house is run by national trust and is well worth a visit. Cost approx £6. This is Glasgow's "Downton Abbey" and depicts life in the victorian times... More

Visited today and really enjoyed it. Spent a good couple of hours wondering around with my wife and two dogs. There are certain parts where the dogs have to be on the lead due to other animals being on the park, such as horses and deers, but there was also space for them to have a run. We didn't go... More

Pollock Country Park is very large and offers something for everyone. There are many made-up ways, which are often used by cyclists and families with prams, bu you can also go off beaten track and discover the wonders of nature. There are ponds, tall forests, meadows and plenty of rhododendron bushes. Anilam lovers will be happy to see numerous Highland... More
