I came here never knowing of it before the day that I took my trip and I loved it. I came on a trip here for a photography project and found so many beautiful things to photograph. The park is huge and I took a great walk. Would be perfect for a picnic and spending a full day here with... More

Love this country park in the city. Coffee in Pollok House is the perfect treat after walking my mini schnauzer. The staff have a little water bowl for dogs just at the gate into the garden cafe so you can still be next to your pooch but the other patrons are separated by a fence to the dog. Great day... More

Sir John maxwell and all the history - almost untouched like he wanted. I grew up in Pollok so as a kid it was fantastic having on our doorstep Pollok Park, Crookston castle, Rosshall Park and their caves.... We explored and played in the gardens (I almost drowned aged 9 in its pond!!! - Oooopsy). great historic Park with Pollok... More

Visited Pollock house for morning coffee and it was lovely. Meals are served in old Victorian kitchen complete with the original ovens, pots etc. Very interesting.

Visited the park and house, to attend the Halloween, scary fairy event with my sister and niece. ,.the house is well kept and the staff friendly and welcoming. The childrens' event was fun and the house and gardens well worth exploring.

Being a Southsider I am blessed to have such a great park on my doorstep. The available facilities for healthy exercise, and kids play are great. The Burrel museum is the jewel in the crown of the park. It is a must visit free tourist attraction with a very nice cafe to rest your weary legs and re-energise as the... More

Perfect for an Autumn day walk, the colours were just glorious today in the sunshine & lots of dry leaves to skip through! After a walk through the woods there are the formal gardens of Pollok House to enjoy, the river and weir to see and of course the wonderful Burrell Museum deserves an hour or two. We also saw... This is such a great park, its got everything you could want. There are really wild parts where you can climb through bushes, a mountain bike track and plenty of footpaths for walkers and runners of all abilities. The gardeners are amazing: managing wilderness and manicured flowerbeds and a vegetable garden equally well. There is a fenced children's play area... More
