A must to have on the visit list when you are in Glasgow especially on a good day. The gardens also have a café for you to grab something to eat and drink.

Really enjoyed this venue and the history on the boards at the entrance is a great scene setter. I visited when it was freezing so the warmth of the glass houses was very welcome as was the tearoom!

Not only are the garden still luscious in December but the green houses are warm even when it will chilly outside. A great way to spend a couple of hours with small kids and it’s free!

A nice spot for lunch with a wander around the gardens - inside in winter and outside in summer, I've visted a few times. Service in the cafe could be better, but its busy and the food is good.

The best way is via the underground station from Buchanan Street to Hillhead, and walk a short distance. There may well be a street map at the station.
