No civic government could ever build such an opulent headquarters today! Fabulous interior. We missed the free tour but the parts of the lower floor we could observe were fabulous.

Beautiful inside. I surely recommend the visit of this place. Great place for example for conference reception.

Clair is fabulous at doing the tours, she must go home and practice every night, because no one is that good naturally! I can tell she is really dedicated to the chambers and could even be our Lord Provost one day. She definitely deserves more...More

We happened to be passing and it was on my list of things to do so we popped in. We had missed the last tour of the day (2:30pm) so we could only look around the ground floor unaccompanied. It would have been good if...More

Some wonderful stairways and grand rooms, evocative of past wealth and power of the city fathers. The lovely Hornel painting is poorly hung so that daylight obscures the quality of painting. Other murals superb. Well worth a visit.

Just walk in and have a look, it's a lovely building. The private bits are always out of bounds I guess. A guide will enhance your visit, sure, but its still worth a quick visit regardless.
