I've just arrived and I'm shocked. My room is really grotty with stains all over the walls and carpet. I would say it was never cleaned properly as it still has hair all over the bathroom walls. Window doesn't shut properly because is so old and Internet connection is slow. Overall it looks like those rooms where the prostitutes live... More

If you are not a student or university worker then there is little point in visiting what is frequently a building site. This is a modern university with an impressive library space and social areas. They put on interesting lectures and student shows etc. The gym is of a high standard. But in terms of visiting as a tourist there... More

I have been brushing my teeth with hot water since I came here, the doors are extremely creaky, which doesn't seem like a bad thing but when you consider you have 5 other flatmates coming and going at all hours of the morning it's very hard to sleep, the walls of the room are fairly grim and the place hadn't... If you trying to pick a university then please have a look at Glasgow Caledonian as it is one of the most progressive, innovative and modern universities in Glasgow and the Psychology department is the best.

been visiting the refractory for seven years on a regular basis, recently a new built has resulted in a move from the old restaurant, honestly I preferred the the old shop, the new modern refactoty is busier, noisier and longer queues and the food cooler as a result of queuing, time will tell if things will improve, still good food... An opportunity presented September 2014 that I could work towards an unfinished career goal and over time aim to achieve "Chartered Engineer" status which is now a must with the implementation of the recent Irish Building Control Regulations. I was accepted into GCU's level 3 Building Services degree course. In my case I used to fly over from Dublin for... More

I would recommend anyone to study at GCU as I never had any complaints while I was a student there. It is a good location which excellent transport links (bus station across the road). The equipment available is of a high standard and the library has an extensive range of books available for every course. Would highly recommend.

I've loved studying at GCU, the teaching staff are brilliant and very supportive. I love being involved in the SA and making many new friends through it! Lovely place.
