We went on the Gold Medal Parade tour. The whisky, of course, was wonderful, but our guide, David, was very friendly and knowledgeable and obviously took great pride in the distillery operation and the whisky produced there. He provided a very enjoyable experience. There is a shop at the distillery, although no mention is made, much less any pressure, to... More

We spent a very enjoyable morning here on a showery trip to the area. The tour was very interesting and informative and the two whiskies that we tasted were great.Good place to get presents in the shop

The distillery is in a beautiful setting the the Scottish countryside - surrounded by hills, waterfalls and rives. We had a great time on the tour - the guide was informative, friendly and funny. The whisky is not too shabby either.

Probably the best distillery/brewery tour I've ever done. No flashy voiceover videos which was good, rather we had an informative tour with Arthur who was great. Highly recommend.

I visited Glengoyne Distillery as part of a tour. I like whiskey but knew nothing about its creation. The location is lovely, with a water fall on the property. The tour was fun and informative but what made it a memorable experience was the staff. It is clear that they enjoy their jobs and each other. Their energy was contagious.

We visited the lovely distillery last weekend. We didn't need to book ahead, just arrived and we surprised with how busy it was. Only £9.50 per adult for the 1 hour tour, and our 8 year old was free. The fee included a sample of the 12 year old malt. (Husband enjoyed 2 since I was driving!) Great photo op... More

Old, romantic and classic distillery exactly as we would have expected a real Scottish whisky distillery (just after the books). The distillery is from 1833 and has a lot of class and Charme. The tour explained the principles and processes behind whisky distillery very well. I recommend the tour with two tastings as the second tasting only add 2 pounds... More

We did the Gold Medal Parade, and were joined by a couple who did the Wee Tasting (12 yo & 18 yo) which starts with the 12 year old and a video, followed by a tour of the facility seeing the process that goes into the production of a single malt scotch. We went with the other couple back to... More
