It was worth the time if you are in the city. I liked the understanding how the servants lived. It gives some appreciation of Downton Abbey.

This was a short stop on out tour but the home and gardens were lovely. Seemed as though some of the rooms were being renovated but overall a great feeling of luxury in times past.More

Lovely day spent walking the grounds of Pollok House. Well worth a visit. Popped into the tea room. As it was a nice day, sat outside having lunch. Good food and value for money! friendly staff!!!More

Had a great visit , the Easter hunt was on and the kids had a brilliant time, searching the house for little Lego men and winning an Easter egg, they loved it, hope to do it all again next year.

No, not inside but I think you can sit at a table outside with your dog. You can leave your dog at the porch at Dandelion Cafe in Newlands Park ( also on the south side of the city, though very small )and water is provided.

There are waste grounds, with fields and forests, just next to the gardens of Pollick house and I saw several people airing there dogs both with and without leash. It must be a haven for dogs. As for the gardens themselves... More
