Have been here for a number of functions. The large hall never ceases to amaze me. There is so much to see, the history on the walls is amazing. I really must ask about a guided tour the next time I am there. It's a great venue for all sort of events, right in the centre of the city. The... More

Great place for events and functions. Beautiful building. Today there was a wine tasting event, smartly dressed valet at the door, interiors are chic.

Came to a function here for the anniversary ball for Radio Lollipop, fantastic old building with so much history, incredible venue for a function and the hall setting was amazing. Food was a bit of a let down, dry chicken and hard potato and drink prices quite high with pretty unhelpful lady behind the bar. So stunning venue, questionable food... More

I have attended a few functions here is the large hall upstairs. The inside is gorgeous and all the portraits around are interesting and it still has that feel of history about it. Well worth a visit.

Our original wedding venue closed 3 weeks before the wedding. The Trades Hall managed to fit us in despite having a booking earlier that day. Elaine was a consummate professional who took all our stress away and reassured us we would have the wedding we had originally planned. So very personable! Communication was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Despite... More

Interesting building with a rich history and architectural details. Often open on the doors open weekend and a fascinating way to spend an hour or two. A fascinating insight into glasgows merchant past and how the trade industries grew in Glasgow. Lovely building and very informative staff. I've heard they often have concerts and talks but not yet been.

A wonderful venue for our wedding. This building is one of Glasgow's Hidden gems. Organised at extremely short notice after being badly let down by our other venue. The venue, catering and staff were exceptional. Excellent friendly service and a personal touch. Dealt with the turnaround of a 200 guest wedding within 1 week! Couldn't be more accomodating, calm and... More

Advance booking is required but well worth the effort! This magnificent Robert Adam building houses the trades of Glasgow dating back to the early 17th century. The contributions made by the trades' altruism is en shrines in the building!

Designed by Robert Adam, the Trades hall is one of Glasgow's best kept secrets. Erected by the Trades House and 14 Incorporated Trades of Glasgow in 1794 it is still used by these bodies today and therefore qualifies as the second oldest building in Glasgow still used for its original purpose, after the Cathedral of St Kentigern. the Grand Hall...
