We went here recently on two occasions. One of these was a quiet evening drink before dinner and provided us with a great taste of a traditional Glasgow pub. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was vibrant with a mostly local feel. We returned the second time for the blues band performance and again the atmosphere was excellent,... More

Visited here after a recommendation on Twitter. Fantastic range of real ales and sky sports TV. A proper traditional feel to this boozer. Find this bar and have a pint.

This bar is like a hidden gem. It's got a fab selection of ales and is like how a pub should be. Welcoming and relaxing.

This is a gem of an old Glasgow pub with an interesting interior including a circular bar. Customers come from all over for the top notch real ales, and the friendly, typically Glaswegian staff add to the experience. Very reasonably priced lunches are available, including a few specials daily. On my visit the beef olives made a tasty, enjoyable lunch.... More

This is a great example of a real Glasgow bar. Full of character and a warm welcome by attentive staff. There are clearly a lot of regulars in this bar but this doesn't stop visitors getting equally good service. Cosy with a lovely atmosphere and a few TVs, usually showing sport. A nice place to spend an afternoon.

I like this place. It is a little noisy at night but the beer is excellent and there is a great circular bar in the centre. Lovely old pictures on the wall and sayings on the woodwork.

Great pub in the centre of Glasgow especially if you want to avoid hustle and bustle of sauchiehall street. Knowledgeable staff and great ales. Well worth a visit!

Great drinks, conversations with bartenders and the overall authentic pub feel you want when grabbing a pint in Glasgow. Comfortable booths and tables is also a plus when sitting around chatting and drinking for a couple of hours. Bartender was knowledgeable about the beers on tap and where they were from. Good experience in City Centre.
