Amazing night

Visited on the Saturday show night and had one of the funniest nights of my life. Excellent near the bone comedy from all. Scott Agnew and Susie McCabe were both outstanding. Bar... read more

Well we payed for our tickets months ago, looking forward to the show, we picked our seat.... waiting for the show to start, went for a drink... asked for a "toastie" and the staff member replays.. "we done have any, we only have half an hour till the show , you want anything else ?? didn't realise that it took... More

I'm sorry that we didn't have any toasties and how dare our staff ask if you would like anything else! Is sharing a table such an imposition? Wouldn't the world be a much happier place if we all shared a little more and learned to enjoy our neighbours. Thank you for your review of our toasties and tables. We will... More

Visited on the Saturday show night and had one of the funniest nights of my life. Excellent near the bone comedy from all. Scott Agnew and Susie McCabe were both outstanding. Bar staff friendly and efficient.... what more could you want. Good tip would be to turn up early, or like us, you might literally need to stand through the... More

Hi Barry, I'm afraid your comment about joining in with the acts probably sums up why you felt the need to make this review and this response . If someone laughs at a joke or interacts with a comedian when asked to that's great - we love that. We don't like people randomly joining in with the act uninvited -... More

I booked a show which got cancelled. It happens. The Stand however, dealt with it fantastically! They immediately transferred my booking to my choice of rescheduled date plus booking me another complimentary show for my inconvenience...free! I'm now looking forward to multiple visits and hope their on site service is as awesome as their online one. An excellent resolution to... More

We went back to the stand for red raw, showcase of new comedians and sometimes more well known performers trying out new material. £5 for a ticket and seven acts. Some of the acts were fabulous others were just ok but what a great night

We're regulars to the Stand so I probably should have written this review before now... The comedy obviously varies depending on who's on, but in my experience it's usually of pretty high quality, and it's a great venue for seeing big names due to its size. We saw Josie Long on Saturday and she did "pre-show karaoke" and it was... More

Came here as a last minute booking on a weekend away for my wife's birthday. Really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere, good bar service at reasonable prices and plenty of laughs. My only negative point is the seating/table layouts could be better, we were crammed in like sardines. If you want a table you must be prepared to get there at... More

Me and my girlfriend go every couple of months. Turn up early and you will get a good seat. No matter what night you go it'll be worth the money. The bar is great and the staff are extremely friendly. I would highly recommend to anyone. One of my favourite things to do in Glasgow

Invited by a business client with another colleague. Our client had booked the venue. There was a buffet and full bar service. Our host had said that we should not sit in the front seats due previous experience. He was spot on. A number of comedians were introduced and whoever was in the front seats received a fair amount of... More

Some friends and I went on a Tuesday night. Entrance was 3 pounds and we saw 8 or 9 acts trying out new material and even the worst of them still had me laughing and laughing. Ashley, the host that night, was also hilarious. Best get there early (we got there 1.5 before the show actually started) as we got... More
