Perfect Spot for Pre Theatre bite!

Some of our party loved their meal and two others found it to be good but not amazing. I think it is a perfect spot for a light meal or quick dinner before a show but I would not... read more

My partner and I purchased tickets via itison for the Abba Extravaganza night held here on 3 December - despite itison stating this venue was subject to unreserved limited seating there was next to no seats available. This was essentially an all standing event for 2.5 hours. Patrons were packed in like sardines. We promptly left before it started. We... More

We were on a ladies weekend away and booked to see the Abba tribute band. Very disappointed in the venue. Downstairs in a basement, no seating. We had a couple of ladies with us with mobility problems. We asked the Manager if he could get us a couple of chairs. He said 'he'd try'....... disappeared and never came back. Bad,... More

Came here whilst in Glasgow for the weekend. Had a meal the first time, all very tasty and well priced, just a drink the second visit - pricy compared with what we're used to, but a couple of real ales which were both good. Live music on Sunday night, laid back blues. Beautiful building, a converted church. Friendly locals, good... More

I had my team of c 100 managers there for corporate event today. I can safely say I have NEVER experienced such horrendous service. Staff didn't turn up on time to open the venue; the main function room was absolutely filthy- I don't think the floor had been cleaned since I last attended a function there in 2007; the waiting... We were in for a quiet drink last Wednesday night, we were thrown out by the bouncers and they couldn't give us a reason. - I've never been removed from any bar in my life and it's was all very strange. I really dislike this place and the really strange attitude of the staff.

Just back from today's pant. It was brilliant. My partner had never been to a panto, may be something to do with children. Anyway he loved this adult panto as did everyone else in the hall. The banter oh the Glasgow banter. Well done Oran more we will be back

A Glasgow institution which has given much joy to me over the years, however this was the first visit for my husband. He is now a fan and we enjoyed the great range of malts and congenial atmosphere immensely. I suspect we'll be making another wee trip to Glasgow very soon.

Came here for the aforementioned play pie and pint. So I got a scotch pie, which was really good, a pint of coke and a pantomime (The Princess and the Pie) which was hilarious. It was a good day out and the show was good - better than a lot I've seen in bigger places such as the Kings.

Some of our party loved their meal and two others found it to be good but not amazing. I think it is a perfect spot for a light meal or quick dinner before a show but I would not make it a dining destination. I travel to Glasgow regularly and have found some great restaurants in the West End sadly... More

A Saturday afternoon stroll around the charity shops in Glasgows' west end just isn't complete without a visit to Oran Mor and Ashton Lane. Wide selection of beers and spirits and a pleasant atmosphere in this converted church. Every time I've been in Oran Mor I've had a great time. Big bonus- no music in the background to have to...
