Looking out for some evening activity we asked around and ended up buying two seats for The Steamie brought in "Glasgow language". Luckily we practised our Billy Connolly's before. We had a good laugh and a nice time in this historical theatre.

The show was first class. However we were shocked to see how tired the King’s Theatre had become. In particular the toilets were highly unsatisfactory. It was in stark contrast to the other theatre locations in Glasgow. This is a major historic venue in Glasgow...More

Went to see The Addams Family. Les Dennis called off that night but his replacement/stand-in was excellent. Had seats in upper circle with unrestricted view. The heat was unbearable and at intermission, staff switched on noisy air conditioners which had to go off when the...More

Iconic Glasgow theatre which is very well preserved. Most seats seem to have an unrestricted view and the charges are very reasonable for the productions that are available. The bar is perhaps a little expensive but not unreasonably so. Car parking in the vicinity is...More

Yes they are, you're practically "on" the stage. See the pictures in my review. Only thing is that you see the play either from the left or the right side. Personal preference matters here! Kind regards, Niels
