apart from being an educational building for so long(since 1451), this university has so much to see as a museum and gallery inside it. can easily pass 2-3 hrs looking at museum inside.

We spent a few hours here, taking in the Hunterian art gallery and museum-lots of weird and wonderful 'pickled' body parts to see for the non-squeamish! Also the Mackintosh ,House which I would recommend to everyone.

Take a short 10 minute walk down the hill to Byres Road or Ashton Lane, which is a more boutique dining experience, and eat there. Just tell the server you want separate checks before you order. Hope this helps Bob
