You get a bit of a "Hogwartz feeling". The main building is beautiful and the Mackintosh house is close by.

If there were a requirement for what a university ought to look like then the University of Glasgow is that standard. In addition to being an academically respected institution it doesn't hurt to be studying in buildings fit for a king! Don Campbell, Massachusetts

It is the fourth oldest University in Europe. The architecture alone is stunning and worth seeing in its own right. The adjoining gallery, museum and MacIntosh House are additional sites of great interest also. If you're interested in an advanced degree I would check out University of Glasgow's many programs for more reasonable prices than in the USA.

Wow, what a campus. Ideally you'll approach through the park so that it will appear ethereally, an apparition on the hill. But it's real--and just as impressive when you walk the grounds. If you're of a design or architectural bent, be sure to visit the Macintosh House exhibit inside the art museum across the street. And if you're familiar with... More

I have been lucky enough to be a student here for the last year (and graduate yesterday!) and no matter how many times I see the main building I am still in awe at its complete beauty and interesting nooks, crannies and the spiral staircases up the turrets. A truly beautiful place to spend a couple of hours wandering around... More

There is a lot to see on this University campus. The building itself is historic and beautiful. Wander round the cloisters,or find some peace in the chapel with its carved choir stalls. There is the Huntarian museum. The fabulous Charles Rennie Mac. I tosh house. A good gift shop and coffee shop. The bustling West end of the city is... More
