Rated 5 stars by VisitScotland, providing programs of entertaining Science theatre, Planetarium, and around 300 hands-on interactive science exhibits over three floors, to introduce science to everyone. Interaction distinguishes GSC, very few exhibits in glass cases and many opportunities to participate in Science. Included workshops and shows are a highlight, ranging from shadow puppets for youngsters to computer coding, robotics and ethical hacking for adults. "BodyWorks" examines the science behind human health and well-being, "Powering the Future" the future challenges and solutions in our energy-hungry world, and the digital planetarium allows visitors to 'leave earth' and travel through the cosmos. Science Mall admission includes free workshops and shows, with add-on charges of £3.00 for access to the Planetarium. A shop and cafe are free to access. Schools and outreach programs extend the Centre's work into the community. The Centre is a registered charity with surpluses returned to the education mission. Car parking and public transport links or a 15 minute walk along the Clyde from the City centre. The adjacent IMAX cinema is now operated by Cineworld.

What a fantastic day out! We took our 3 children, aged 6, 5 and 2. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Lots to see, play with and learn. Plenty of workshops/sessions to sign up to, some included in the entrance fee, some extra. We particularly enjoyed the water ways area and the bodyworks exhibition. The children signed up to the bubblology... More

Tonnes to do - we stayed 6 hrs. A definite if you have kids of any ages. Best floor is Body Works and do see the 3D Underwater film too - a worth 'add on'. A great day out.

Excellent service for our conference in this venue, as well as an interesting place to hold the conference. Science centre exhibition seems well laid out and interesting. Worth a visit.

Fantastic day out. Really enjoyed this place. We were sorry we had none of the kids or grand kids with us because they would have loved it. We spent hours and didn't know the time going in as there is so much to do and see. Definitely worth a visit

Although the entry was a little pricy, the GSC made up for it with the quantity of interesting and interactive exhibits. Almost every exhibit was an activity with a short piece of descriptive text. This meant that all the scientific concepts were backed by a practical demonstration. The centre was very busy and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

As a family we love the science centre. There are so many hands on experiments for ages. The annual pass is great value too. However on this trip the large water play exhibit in younger children's area hand no water and no reasons why! As we went on we found that there were more experiments and exhibits that were not... This is an unmissable and fun day out with the kids. Brilliant. We arrived at 10 and left at 5 and the boys were enraptured the whole time! The experiments, experiences and informative demos were outstanding!!! Every detail was meticulously thought through and a fun factor was at the core of everything on offer. One of the best days out... More

Spent a day here with my 6 year old grandson. There is so much to do it is ideal for children. The planetarium show was excellent very engaging for all ages. The cafe is very good and priced sensibly. The food was well cooked and very tasty.

Hi. If you have kids or are a big kid then enjoy. I loved it. So much to see and touch and interact with. Simply fab but then I was with a 10 year old lad and it was a great way to spend a good chunk of your day out of the rain.

Was a great day out! So many puzzles and interesting things to do! You can test your strength and speed with the average human which is fun. There is mind games to play with your partner which is really funny! I am planning a return trip in a couple of weekends with some of my friends from home! So much... More
