Great course

Played here yesterday. Fantastic course with absolutely stunning views. The course was in great condition. A real bargain and must play if in the area.

Previously when we’ve played this course it’s always been immaculate but we played here again recently & must say the course has badly deteriorated. The 1st Green was so sodden it was actually moving under your feet like a sponge when you walked on it ... totally impossible to read or judge the pace of! Sadly, this was a sign... More

A genuine 'Hidden Gem' featuring some superb holes and great views. All Tees, Fairways & Greens are immaculately manicured & of an exceptionally high standard. It's a '£15 Pay & Play Bargain' & Trolly Hire is only £1 ... take one, it feels much longer than it's yardage. This course is a fun challenge for any skill level. It's tight,... More

having recently resigned from a well known Glasgow golf course, as I was only paying 15 times or so a year ( and paying £800 for the privilege) , I've been looking for an alternative venue . First of all, this not Gleneagles . There are about 4 x 300 yard par fours, and not a huge amount of rough.... More

Testing 18 hole golf course at reasonable green fee price. Lovely views of the Campsie Hills. It is a bit hilly but think of the exercise in the fresh air and how good it will do you! Near the village of Balfron which has some good restaurants and pubs. Try it and enjoy!

Once you are over the steep climb from the car park to the first tee playing here is a pleasure. The informality of the clubhouse is appealing, as is the honesty box for the attractive green fee. With welcoming and helpful members all the way round you can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding hills from almost every hole. This... More

Stunning views, great value, short but testing course, the rough can be brutal and the weather is always testing and every hole makes you think. I've played this course with a number of different people from all around the world and they are always impressed with the views, which for 360 degrees, are breath taking. Don't expect Jaguars in the... More

Sorry about the much overused title, but this is the real thing. Stunning moorland course at a ridiculous price thanks to Sport Scotland lottery funding. No catering at clubhouse but nearby Coachhouse pub has excellent beer and Pakora offer via good Indian Restaurant above it.

Played this course a few times it's in great condition and the views as you get into the course are spectacular , campsites on the right and Loch Lomond hills on the left. Not too hilly and it is challenging without being impossible. It's also good old traditional golf, put your money ( only £15 during the week) in an... More
