A really nice track although a bit of a hike at times! The course was really well kept but I found the greens pretty wet and also very bumpy which resulted in making any putt an achievement! Overall this is a course that's well worth playing and at a pretty good price too. The views at the top of the... More

It's a real good course to visit ..a wee info sheet for visitors would be a great help as direction of holes or rough type of shot or green position for blind shots would be incredible help The varied shape of holes is fab and the ever changing views hard to beat whichever way the holes go

My friends and I picked up a deal to play Windyhills over the Easter period, and through no fault of the club, we were playing through thick fog. With limited sight for the first 13 holes it was a struggle, but of what we could see the course played well and was clearly taken care of. When the weather cleared... More

This golf course is brilliant, lots of challenging par4s, 3 decent par 5's & some cracking par 3s. A real challenge in the Wind. Always in great condition, members and staff are really friendly. It rates in top 10 in and around Glasgow and Dunbartonshire. The views from 1st green, Hills at 3,5,6,8,9,10,12,1316&17 are smashing views from looking down the... More

Played Windyhill in Sep'14 and can't recommend it highly enough. Overlooks Glasgow to the south and the wilderness of the hills to the north. Fantastic example of a Scottish moorland course with varied undulating terrain and fast hard greens. Great value for our £25 and coming back for some of the opens in 2015.

My mate and I played the course on a groupon deal. The course was very good. The greens were not brilliant, which is understandable, at this time of the year. However, they were all on, and no holes had winter greens. We had a drink afterwards and the 2 ladies in the Clubhouse (one was Caroline) were really friendly and... More

We played here using a Groupon voucher and despite the weather not being the greatest we had a decent day. Our round was booked late afternoon and I was able to hire a trolley for a few pounds, although I can't recall if it was £3 or £5. My mate bought a club from the shop and told me he... More

This is an excellent challenge to all golfers and lives up to his name. The golf course is in excellent condition with the greens a challenge to find ANY better in the area. Give it a go!
