I don’t think I have ever left a bad review in my life, I have been to some grim places but most of the time I do not see the point of complaining for complaints sake. However, I cannot go without pointing out the absolute disaster this place is. Me and my 4 friends had been to Kitty’s beforehand and I had had one drink and I was barely tipsy let alone drunk, however I have dyspraxia so my coordination is poor anyway. The female bouncer took one look at us all and told them all to go in but then when she walked in she told me to find somewhere else whilst actively trying to get my friends in. I showed her and email that proved my condition and she still refused to believe that I was sober enough to enter. Although I do understand that bouncers have a job to do, I spoke to 4 bouncers in the place next door and they said I looked and sounded completely fine, additionally two of my friends were far drunker than me and got in. Even without that the fact that they were encouraging my friends to leave me alone on the street and then not help me at all is hugely unsafe especially if I was properly drunk. They clearly do not care about the safety of their customers so honestly I wouldn’t bother. The bouncer had no empathy and didn’t seem to care about the situation she’d put me in. Luckily I have good supportive friends who wouldn’t leave me outside but if they’d been people I wasn't close with and had gone in idk what I would have done.

Was stood at the bar for 20+ min without being served once. There was a "no service" sign at the end of the bar which we were stood next too, next to everyone else. Out of nowhere a woman comes past us, stands straight in front of the no service sign and got served instantly. This is blatant favouritism as the woman behind the bar who served her obviously knows her. Because of this, we move over out of the crowd to where she got served from. She then comes along and moves the no service sign directly in front of us. Absolute disgrace.

We then question the staff as to why we're not being served after patiently waiting for nearly half an hour, to which the woman looks at my friends and tells us that we aren't getting served and to go elsewhere, then points at me directly and says "That means you too, so go".

The rudeness of the staff is unbelievable and uncalled for. Would be such a nice place to go if this one woman got her head checked out and got some proper social skills. No idea how she got her job with that attitude.

Really need to become more aware of what’s going on at the bar upstairs. I was in Scotland for the first time ever celebrating a friends engagement, there were 3 of us waiting to order and a random bloke pushed into the queue at the bar jumping and being a nuisance.

Immediately the woman behind the bar said “get all these 4 out”. So due to the actions of one bloke we don’t even know we were labelled and asked to leave. We were very calm and collected and when we originally ordered we sat back down to our tables and was polite to all the staff and kept ourselves to ourselves, I even offered the staff at the front if they wanted a redbull as you’re kind to the staff where I come from as respect goes both ways, unfortunately not here.
I have a very bad level of social anxiety and i never go to bars or club scenes so the last thing I would want to be doing is causing issues in these places, I was actually struggling being stood at the bar in the first place.
Even one of the security said how she was being unreasonable but we were asked to leave. Absolute ridiculous.

My husband and I travelled to Glasgow for a concert at the OVO Hydro...we decided to have a wee pub crawl first! By far the best bar we tried was Nice N Sleazy Sauchiehall Street..really cool, chilled out atmosphere and fantastic tunes..the staff are friendly and welcoming...especially Tatiana who was knowledgeable on the different drinks they served and could recommend the best to suit us, very friendly, fun and professional. Would definitely recommend this pub 😀

Arrived at sleazys with 2 friends, first port of call for the night,
Soon as we walked to the door bouncer was very aggressive and had a threatening manner, proceeded to question us for ages( 5mins) about where we had been, talking down to us, then tells us we were to drunk, being stone cold sober tried to reason with him , he laughed in our faces and said he knew best, said he would let us in for 1 drink.
Once inside the unfriendly bar staff served us, no smile just a dirty look. Went back to talking with pals (looked like workers but who knows) sitting eating her dinner at the bar.
Having worked in a bar myself, know customers should be treated better.
Bouncers on complete ego trip, must be losing the bar business!
Have to wonder if the owner knows what's going on.
Anyway we won't be back.

I was with two of my friends, one a girl, one a boy. I'm a girl myself. The bouncer ID'd my male friend, I was next in line to be ID'd, and he turns and looks at my female friend's ID behind me. So I presume that I can just walk in, but then he stops us all and lectures us that he needs to check all of our IDs before we go in. He then proceeds to tell my male friend he didn't "like the look of his friends". We get in and feel ridiculed and outraged, so we walk out. Completely tainted our experience of the place albeit not being able to judge the actual bar.

really awful. staff were rude and thought they were too cool to be there. my friend left her jacket there and we went back the next day to pick it up only to be told they had taken it to a charity shop. Apparently they take things weekly......not even 24 hours had passed and she lost a 300 pound coat. dingy little hole. not to be revisited.

We were turned away at the door as it was deemed there were too many of us, too many being five?! We are all in our mid fifties and had just returned from a gig at the O2 Academy.
None of us were drunk or presented any kind of threat at all. We just wanted a pint and maybe some more music.
If allowed in we would probably have spent around £200 minimum between us, so maybe the rules for entry need revisited. It can't be good for business. Needless to say we won't attempt to get in there again, our money will be spent elsewhere

Load of mates, 12 of us, average age 58 goes in to bar (about ten customers there) only to be told (by barmaid) that it is their policy not to serve large groups over 5! Jings did we look like we were gonna cause trouble, 2 policemen, 5 armed forces, 5 pensioners! Motley crew not!

Now spreading the word to stay away if you are in any "big group"!

We went to visit "Nice N Sleazy", because we had very good recomendations from scotish people, after spend all day travelling to go there for having an amazing night out, we met a security man with glasses very rude and unhelpfull, he started asking questions, like why we where there, where were we from, bla bla bla...so after some words, our entry was banned. Very dissapointed for this terrible and racist treatment. We were felling shame for our condition and origins. Sad. Never again!
