It was enjoyable to walk along the Clyde and see a transformed Glasgow. New museums, new shopping areas mingling with the historical. It is a blend of the old and the new. There is a lot of development still taking place.

My sister and I walked the Clyde on the way to the SSE Arena for a Bryan Adams show, it is STUNNING, the people from Glasgow keep this little gem well hidden. We loved looking at the water and enjoying the relative peace and quiet...More

A delightful riverside walk which showcases the best of Glasgow, both old and new. We ended our walk at The Clydeside Distillery, one of several restored gems in the area.

Whilst I was very impressed with Glasgow and its immense cultural offer, the River was a bit disappointing. I did not see any boats or any activity . I recently visited Bristol where the river was absolutely vibrant with rowers, ferries, excursion boats, etc. Perhaps...More

One of my pet hates is walking over river bridges which I had to do 4 times today to get to museums. The Clyde looked cold and dirty brown.

Went down to the river twice whilst in Glasgow. Went the first time on the city sightseeing tour bus which is an excellent way to see the area. The next day we walked down to the river from our hotel and had had a nice...More

Whilst doing the Glasgow city centre mural trail, which brought us down to this area, we deviated a little from the trail for a while to explore this area a bit more. We have visited Glasgow many times, but this is the first time we've...More
